Favorite half pads?

Hey everyone!

Having a bit of trouble finding the perfect half pad for my horse and saddle…while the Fleeceworks pads look nice and fit my one horse and saddle…it is too thick for my other horse and his saddle. Any tips on thin, non-bulky half pads that just give a little extra cushion? Also, looking for one that I can show in that blends in and doesn’t obstruct the overall picture. High quality preferred.

Thank you!

If you need super thin - Prolite Tri (take all the shims out). It’s 1/4" thick, and a non-distracting color.

If you like fleece, I have an Engel pad (without the rear rolls, I hate those) that for the price can’t be beat. I don’t think it’s markedly thick.

Second the ProLite Tri. It’s awesome.

Thinline are amazing pads! If you cant do mattes for the thickness, I highly recommend a Thinline.

Winderen is the hottest sh* in my area. I liked the Eskadron lambskin underlay, because it works with every saddle pad and the lambskin is directly on the horses back.

I second the thinline pads. You can get them without fleece, and in brown and black.

love my Acavallo pad. Hexagon gel type.

I use thinline as well, my saddle fits properly and I don’t want to alter that.

eta: I use the contour pad, no fleece or trim https://www.smartpakequine.com/pt/thinline-contour-pad-5863
