I’m looking for a new bat (preferably one that comes in red), and would love some recommendations.
I prefer a longer bat - not one of those super short bats - and one with a good grip, but that isn’t too thick. I have bad arthritis in my hands, fingers are swollen and gripping a thicker shaft is painful. Good “balance” is also important, and preferably not $40 and up!

My favorite was my old custom whip from Bit of Britain but the handle is a little thick (and it’s a little over your budget, I think). I had it for 20+ years until I got a Portuguese Water Dog puppy with a penchant for carrying around my things, and it somehow got broken. Fowlers Jockey Supply lets you choose the handle thickness (and everything else - very fun).

I actually just ordered a bat from VTO Saddlery, Jacks jump bat - recommended by an eventer FB friend. Only $4.99 shipping! It seems to check all the boxes (and even comes in red/black/white - my colors), score!
