Favorite online pharmacy, mostly for Prascend

I used the search function but didn’t get too much that was recent.

I guess more or less everyone does autoship these days, but that is a feature that I require. Otherwise, reliability is my primary concern, followed by price. I just want to know drugs will come on time, that they are real, not expired, or soon to expire, etc.

I can see that the Prascend doesn’t vary much site to site. Allivet looks like it has good prices. How are they?

I am in the US.

Thanks in advance.

I use Allivet for my dog’s prescriptions. My horse vets find it inconvenient. They like that Farmvet will text them to reauthorize refills and apparently their workflow for authorizations is very easy to use. Allivet calls or faxes. Both vets are vehement they have never received refill messages from Allivet. My dog’s vet doesn’t seem to have this issue, but since I’m not sure whose problem it actually is, I’ve chalked this up to “I just can’t use Allivet for the horse” unless I get a paper prescription from the horse vet and mail it in.

I also used Heartland Pharmacy in the past; they will run coupon codes that are valid on prescriptions. 15% off of Prascend is a significant savings. My vets had the same issue with the refill workflow. If I could get a paper RX in the right window of time it was worth it, but it’s a hassle.

Valley Vet always seems to work well for my stuff, and for the vet.

Heartland Vet totally screwed me on a non RX item once–wound up filling an Federal Trade Commission complaint about it, it was that egregious. Never using them again!

Never a problem with Allivet. They are in FL, so I try not to order temp sensitive stuff in the summer.

I have used ValleyVet, Allivet, and Chewy for dog and horse prescriptions. Who has the best price varies by product. I have had an issue with Allivet about a mis-fill, but they made good on it. Chewy will not fill an off use script for horses (i.e., Previcox - they will only fill as Equioxx, which is much more expensive). I have not used Farmvet, but my old horse vet highly recommended them.

Valley Vet was my go to. I’ve gotten things from Allivet that have been very short-dated or opened. They have always made it right, but it’s not worth the aggrevation as it seemed to be a trend.

Thanks for the recs!

fwiw, I use allivet and have never had an issue with horse vet and them. small animal vet that insists everything is by the book, to a T, on the otherhand… Allivet has a decent rewards program too.

Valley Vet and I’m not sure how their pricing works but they seem to honor original auto ship pricing. I use them for Prascend and have paid around $305 for 160 tablets for over a year now. I also use them for my dog’s Simparica on auto ship. The Chewy.com price for Simparica is now almost $100, Valley vet is still charging me $76. Really not sure how or why but Valley vet has my business for those meds.

I’ve used Valley Vet for years. Prices on prescriptions are usually the lowest or close to it. Shipping is prompt and is free on $49 and up so it covers a lot of prescriptions. I arranged with my vet that I would set up the product order online. Valley Vet contacts my vet directly for the prescription. I’ve also saved a few bucks ordering deworming products for the year. I finally did a fecal several years ago and the vet recommended Equimax, Quest Plus and a tube of ivermectin for my high shedder.

Since it requires a RX, you may want to ask your vet if they will price match. I get mine from my vet after I tried to order from an online pharmacy and they warned me about the legitimacy of the product and where it came from.

Just a thought!

Whatever you do, not wedgewood.

This is a great idea! I did get the first box from my own vet, but it was at a higher price.

Valley Vet ! Fast shipping and great prices. You can sign up for sale alerts, that’s when I would stock up
