I have some rugs that I know were laundered improperly by a over helpful BO last year.
I’d like to re water proof them just to be on the safe side.
What products do you recommend or feel work the best ?

Camp Dry - I’ve used it for years to extend the life of old turnout blankets. It works very well. I use 1 can/blanket.
Ditto the Camp Dry. Been using for rugs/turnouts/blankets for 24 yrs and never had it let me down. Had several old Rambo’s that were easily 15 yrs old and still were waterproof and breathable by using Camp Dry.
Hang on a rail or fence on a non-windy day, spray both sides and let air dry at least 24 hrs. Longer is better.
I’m a bit more generous than the above poster and use a bit over a can/rug. Maybe 25%+ more. I figure for 2 rugs, I’ll use almost 3 cans.
Awesome thank you. Do you apply in layers or just one layer and drying time equals good to go?
I second the Camp Dry but I lay mine flat on the ground…less waste, more coverage. Soak it well, lay in the sun. When you cannot smell it anymore, its cured.
