Looking for your opinions on your favorite comfortable paddock boots that have worn well! Good for barn work, easy to take on/off and to hop on a horse for casual exercise!

Spend the $$ & get custom Dehners.
Slipons, no laces or zipper.
Laces break, zippers get full of grit & need replacing.
My current pair is from 2002 & still in good shape.
Comfortable as slippers from Day One.
First 15yrs they were worn at least 4 days a week for riding, now less often, but only the elastic at the sides shows wear. Soles are still in good shape & leather (oiltan) has some creasing along the vamp, but no tearing.
Smartpak has their own paddock boots now. They are CHEAP. I experimented with them because my Ariats disintegrate in less than a year. I’m a trainer and wear them all day, every day.
These are outlasting the ariats by two years so far.
Highly recommend.
