Pretty self explanatory… do any of you have a favorite polo wrap brand if you use them?
Equifit hands down!
I prefer my super old polos from the 1980s. But for new stuff, I will accept Keeneland polo wraps. They take, oh, 2-3 years and 1,000 washings before I actually LIKE them, but after that I think they are pretty darn good. Before the 2-3 year, 1,000 washings mark, they resemble water wings on a horse.

Hve you had trouble with them falling apart quickly?
VACS bandage… extra long… superior to all others I have tried… by far… cheap too 24 a set I think
My favourite polos are really old, really well used, and I have no idea what brand they are. Equifit close second, eskadron climatex 3rd.
Vacs. I have to wash them a ton though before using. I paid like $14 for a set of four at the tack shop. They come in a ton of colors though I only use black, white, and green. Hold up really well.
I hate fluffy, slick fleece.
vacs are the only ones I like. I have tried others and they might as well be fleece blankets, even after years of washing they dont break down right. Vacs break in quickly and are the way to go!

Me too. I go to tack sales specifically to scout-out old polo wraps. The new ones are just too thick, or something.
No I haven’t but I am pretty lazy and usually use boots. So mine don’t get very much use
I like Vacs but I have heard this rumor that the Equifits are replacing open front boots in some of the EQ classes at the big shows as the “in fashion” thing to do?
My favourites are the cheap ones I buy at the feed store, True North I think. Probably only available locally, but I swear they beat every expensive pair I’ve ever had. Almost all my polos have now been replaced with these.
I also have a friend that makes her own, custom polos for the win! Haha
My favorites for the right amount of stretch and thickness, that stand up well to years of abuse, are Classic Equine and Lettia. I’ve only had my Lettias about 3 years, but they’ve worn wonderfully, and my Classic Equines still look great after 5 years.
I can’t stand the super-thick, super-fluffy polo wraps like Keeneland/Equine Textiles (I believe they’re the same brand).
Eous.
Horze Brand, “Embrace Fleece Bandages” , They aren’t too thick or thin, and they hold up to washing machines and dryers. They fit in your hands well and have just enough give. Oh and they are under $20.00 a set.
I like my Lettia wraps the best out of everything I’ve used so far. They have the right amount of stretch and fabric, don’t look bulky on the legs, and have held up nicely. I have some Smartpak polos and they’re ok, but there’s a bit of extra fabric, (that is close to where the velcro is sewn on), that never lays flat and it drives me insane! They also look a bit bulky compared to the Lettia wraps.
German polo brand help?
Hi everyone! Question: is anyone familiar with a German polo wrap brand that has a German flag on the Velcro? It starts with a ‘W’ and I cannot remember what it is called! They have colorful wraps and pads too.
Waldhausen?

I would also guess Waldhausen! I LOVE their combination wraps (half fleece, half elastic) and have 2 sets of the black ones, and I wish I could find them in brown!
Also love the Equifit wraps, but those are really finnicky to use/store and so dang $$$! Also wish those came in brown as well.
I like the Vacs polos, they’re the easiest to get. I have a set of Eskadron polos that I really like–nice and long but not too thick. My favorite though are a set of BR wraps that I got from the Netherlands. And they have all the colors you could ever imagine with matching saddle pads.
