Favorite Quotes from well known equestrians

I’m working on something for a horse show and I’m looking for brief, helpful/inspirational quotes from well known equestrians. I would have thought there might be a book of these somewhere but I haven’t found one…so, if anyone knows of a good quote by a horseman/horsewoman that is worth repeating, please post the quote and who said/says it…

For several summers my older daughter did catch riding for trainers who had junior exhibitor horses in training whose owners could not be at such and such show so my daughter would exhibit the horse for the trainer,

And they were correct about affording those high dollar horses

Riding has nothing to do with the horse.
It is the complete discipline of the rider.
