Favorite safety stirrups?

As the title states, what are your favorite safety stirrups? I currently ride in MDC flex irons with the S curved branch. What are your favorite safety or breakaway stirrups? Bonus points if they look more traditional.

I like my Acavallos. Good grip; not too heavy or too light, and they come in a semi-traditional look (though not looking like Fillis irons). Feel secure with regard to safety.

I strictly ride dressage and love my Tech Venice sloped stirrups. In other threads like this I have heard other riders from various disciplines chime in that they like the tech venice safety stirrups as well

I got mine before they started to offer discipline-specific stirrups, so I can’t comment on the differences between the styles.

As an extra recommendation, I really liked the service I got from Ride Equisafe and they have a whole range of safety stirrups. They only carry safety products that they can personally recommend I think. I’ve seen good reviews of the Free Jumps and Acavallos in my belaboured research before finally purchasing my Tech’s.

There was a pretty extensive thread in this just recently, maybe in the dressage forum? I only know because I posted in it and read it several times while doing my own search. I haven’t purchased yet, still dithering.

I believe there was one in Eventing semi recently as well with a good number of answers.

I also use the Acavallos; I have several pairs and my oldest is probably 8 years old and still looks good. I specifically wanted a pair that opened at the bottom as it seemed to me opening at the top defeated the purpose of a safety stirrup.

Add me as another Acavallo user. I also have another saddle with Samshield safety stirrups and I like them as well.

American Equuis Elite Escape stirrups.

I am in the same boat. I love my MDC s-stirrups (not flex iron though) and would like to know if anyone has made the switch to a safety stirrup with a similar footbed.
