Favorite show shirt.

What is your favorite show riding shirt?

I love Ariat show shirts.

I have Essex, TS and RJ Classic show shirts.

I love the fit and fabric on the Noble Outfitter shirts.

Honestly I don’t find much different now with all the various tech shirts, so I just try to buy whatever’s on sale. My biggest issue is to make sure the arms aren’t too long, since I’m petite. If you are busty or have a specific concern let us know and maybe someone can make more specific suggestions.

Good point. I’m looking for long sleeved plus pretty big boobs.

I have 2 different show shirt reviews on my blog if you want to read a bit more in-depth and see actual photos! They are definitely my 2 favorite shirts right now.

Ariat Marquis: (which happens to be on sale at Smartpak right now!)

Noble Outfitters Madison:

Essex Talent Yarn, Romfh Competitor, Tailored Sportsman Icefil, Ariat Tek, FITS, Animo, etc

Asmar. Soft, stretchy and launder beautifully. Magnetic collar makes life easy, mesh sides keep you cool. Price is the only drawback unless you snag one on sale.

Awesome I just ordered one!

That’s why I like the ariat ones, I’m a 38DDD and 5’9 with long arms, and they have always fit my chest/arms. And I can get them on sale most anywhere which makes them more attractive lol.

Essex Talent Yarn is my favorite. I’m rather well-endowed with short arms, and they work really well. Especially with the fun pattern on the sleeve cuffs, you can flip them up to make the sleeves shorter and show off the pattern a little bit!

Sarm Hippique Elisa. I love the stretch and texture of the fabric. For fun trim, Essex Talent Yarn or TS.

I like the Ariat Showstopper or sunstopper (can’t remember what it’s called.).
Snap collar makes things easy, the fabric feels nice on the hot/humid days and the vented sides are a great idea. And as others have mentioned- I can usually grab them on sale which I love.

Another vote for these babies. Cheap, simple and cute

Not to bogart this thread, but are there any recs for nice shirts that aren’t tech fabrics? I can’t stand the tech fabrics- I think they start to stink very quickly (this may be my own problem!) and they stain easily, so I always look for cotton-based fabrics. I’ll try anything that fits, feels like nice fabric, and won’t gross me out as soon as I start to sweat.

I ride jumpers, so I have more leeway in terms of colors, but since I’ve resolved never to wear tech fabric shirts my options are bit more limited in that sense.

I got a couple that I wouldn’t call tech fabrics. One from Jr classics and Asmar.

I have an Essex, RJ and a FITS - the FITS has stayed the whitest, soft and the most comfortable. It’s a bit shorter than I would like but fits good.

I am going to check out the Asmar. I do like their products.

I had that issue a while ago on all my sunshirts. It was the weirdest thing. I started taking Zinc and Magnesium supplements and the stink went away

I also started having my hockey boys take the supplements and it worked for them too. Just an idea to try.
