Favourite quarter sheet?

I’m in Canada so I need something that’s available here. I’m not interested in paying the exchange, shipping, or anything at customs.

I moved to a barn that doesn’t have a heated arena. One horse barely grows a coat, the other one had to get clipped for a show. Looking for a quarter sheet that doesn’t get pulled backwards, if that even exists. Doesn’t need to be waterproof. Would like it to have some weight though for winter hacks outside if there’s a little breeze.

The new shedrow Westbury one from Greenhawk is pretty warm and looks good.

Hmm I’ll have to go feel it, it looks like it might be fairly bulky under the leg.

I have a Thermatex quarter rug that I really like. It is medium weight, quilted, does not flap, no bulk under leg. But I only paid $USD 50-60 for it several years ago. The Bahr price is ridiculous IMHO. .

I really like my Back on Track sheet. It doesn’t slide around or interfere with my leg. No idea if it really “works” the way they claim the technology does, I just like the fact that it’s very functional and really well made.

I love my Rambo quarter sheet.

Here’s a link from an Irish vendor I’ve bought from before. They ship internationally, and even with international shipping, the cost is still lower than if you bought it in the US or probably Canada.

It’s HEAVY fleece that does not flap in the breeze and does not pill. It washes really nicely and holds a nice shape–it’s not a thin floppy type of fleece.

I was going to suggest that quartersheet but not sure if OP can get it. Maybe check Ebay?

I have that Quartersheet and mine is older than old. It was a Christmas gift to me when my second OTTB was still alive, so has been around for a long time and seen a lot of horses… Unfortunately 2nd TB was a shrimp (72) and it doesn’t fit any of my newer TBs too well, but I second the quality is very good and it has not deteriorated over time despite lots of neglect and abuse. I almost bought the larger version for my 81 TB when Dover had their tent sale. It’s still just as thick and well made. FYI I think that the drop on these are a little small - so if you have a big horse go with a bigger size or it looks like a mini-skirt on them.

I ended up getting the Amigo quartersheet instead, only because it had a waterproof backing and it always rains in the fall when I ride. I also sized up because IMHO the Amigo has the same unique problem - shallow drop and mini-skirt appeal

Amigo - I got mine in Excalibur. Used it all last fall/winter and very happy with it:

Thanks everyone, the BOT and the Rambo were actually the two that I was considering.
My next question is does everyone prefer the keyhole or the full quarter sheet?

I have a Rambo and like it a lot. It’s probably the only one that’s actually long enough for my horse. I was worried about static, but he doesn’t mind at all. The keyhole is good for a couple of reasons. One, you can take it off if you need to easily enough. Second, I actually attach it between the two flaps of my close contact saddle. Putting it all the way under the saddle made my saddle pad migrate backwards for some reason. It stays in place fine with this other technique, even for longeing (so, no leg on the flap).
