Federal Fraud Case

So Larry and Kelley being allowed to show rated ( with the extensive help of their legal team) is justification for this guy to show local “with restrictions” that would be monitored by…who?? What show restrictions would prevent a repeat of swindling people outside the show ring?

But thanks for adding your post to the bump up, remember that thread, didn’t realize this was the person who was trying to weasel his way back in. Helps those of us not anywhere near Virginia know which rocks hide the snakes.

So I looked JC up on FB. I am surprised he is FB friends with a lot of my horse and pony peeps… Including some who are officials, and well known names.

His facebook friend list is actually pretty impressive. I’m guessing most don’t even know who he is. There are some that definitely do.

Lately, think most are more careful about clicking on random friend requests then years when FB was new and the only show in town. Talking about adults here…Even I’ve got " friends" with very well known names I never met but accepted because of that notoriety and the fact they were friends of friends I actually knew. I should weed out that list. Someday…rarely there anymore, sos from the same old people mostly. Don’t have time.

It’s the “onesie who do” part that gets me. One horse he recently showed is owned by someone who is on FB saying he wants to be a judge. Also involved with a relatively well known trainer. People should watch the company one keeps.

I think this would be a no… they stole TWF’s horse, it was seized by the DOJ and sent to the auction block. TWF had to buy her own damn horse back! On the other thread she said she never received a dime from them, so there is your answer!

I also wonder if the Turner’s would still be alive today if it were not for them being snowed by these con artists…

It was a rhetorical question

A victim/survivor of a crime will always view the crime/punishment very differently than those not affected by what perp did. Those who know the perps personally probably have not been a victim/survivor of their sales fraud. Greed/money has always been woven in the threads of the equine industry. Some folks are ethical and do not allow greed/money to rule the day. For others it is about the money and what it takes to win. We are the company we keep…I tend to stay far away from the un-ethical types.

Has anyone seen his page “Is Reinstatement in my Future?”
It looks like he created it in January, 2015, and there is not much activity.

I think many are “FB friends” just to keep track of him. Remember keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Wise words in this business.
