Feed Room Storage

We keep unopened feed bags in a Horseman’s Pride tack trunk. Have never had a problem with vermin getting inside.

Are deck boxes fairly rodent proof. I think this is a great idea just wasn’t sure if they were manufactured tight enough to keep out mice.

I’ll have to take some photos, but my husband ended up purchasing some restaurant ice storage bins for a couple bucks each from an auction. They have worked pretty well! I don’t dump the grain directly into them, although if I built boxes inside, I’m sure I could. Right now I just have the bags inside the bins that I’m scooping from, but the bins are a very thick, heavy plastic and so good so far on the rodent issue. :slight_smile:
