Last summer I used bagged chopped hay (no molasses, just oil) so I could limit my guy’s pasture time and still give him enough forage. I have not found a good way to feed it, tho. In a slow feed hay bag, it seems too hard to get out and hay is left. In a bucket, horsey scarfs it down in short order. I have heard so many negative things about the slow feeders with grating tops (worn teeth…) that I am hesitant to try one. This is what I am using:

Any suggestions? (Here in Ocala I am blessed with great pasture. Stalling him for the hottest part of the day with this hay seemed to work to decrease his grazing time.)
