Ah, I see.

However, I would advise anyone against using the concept of “absorption” so loosely with a substance that drags stuff across the blood-brain barrier. That’s a big deal in physiological terms. You want to know if you are doing it. (And I’ll bet natural selection created a pretty impenetrable blood-brain barrier precisely to protect the all-important nervous system from whatever stuff might be ingested or absorbed within the rest of the body. What you want to get through the gut wall might not be something you want in your brain.)
