I have started a round of probiotics for our barn on the advice of our nutritionist, and have noticed that a few of the horses have a bit more eye goop than usual. All are bright and happy, just have a bit of clear drainage sticking to their faces at the corner of the eye. It has been extra windy here lately too, so could easily be just due to dust getting blown around, but I was curious as to whether anyone else has noticed this while feeding probiotics? I put them on as a dry top dressing, so conceivably, the horses could snuff them into their eyes while eating their feed.
