Remember Patch in the 2017 Ky Derby? TP trained entry, lost an eye as a 2 yo? Not his race but he was multiple graded stakes placed in his career, earning about a half million. Last started in a Stakes race at Saratoga this past summer but sliding down the ranks.
Calumet just placed him at Old Friends. He’s there now.

Awww. That’s great. They all need a soft landing, and this landing is EXTRA cushy! 
I love Old Friends Farm. My mom, my little sister and I toured the Georgetown farm last year. It was amazing. The guides know these horses really well!
Thanks LaurieB. Been a rough week on here, Another plus is he had slipped in class running mostly allowance for a tag until late August but Calumet delivered him in exceptional shape after his letdown, he’s on their FB stepping out of the trailer and standing in his new paddock.
He should do a great job attracting donors and fans for a dignified retirement, whether at 6 or 16, for any working horse when it’s time…
