Felt pads finally available! And new question about silk stock ties.

First, thank you all for the input and encouragement on the covered wool felt pads. The link is in my signature if you want to go check out the initial offerings in the new store. Fleece-bound pads will be up soon!

I’ve also found some really nice silk in plaids/checks and stripes. Would there be interest in silk stock ties? I could probably make them available, lightly interfaced (more stable and easier to iron!) and in approximately 72" lengths, for about $40.

Seems like most people I know prefer plaids/checks–would there be any interest in stripes in particular?

I am now working on a quilted white pad with fleece edging, as I’m not thrilled with how version 1 looks. I am planning to offer options on color of quilted top (maybe beige or off-white for stain-prone areas, or brown to blend in with the saddle?) and material of underside.

What do you think of the pictured version? Should I offer both (the full Sherpa topside as well as the quilted topside with Sherpa edging)?

Not sure I’m up for keeping these in stock, but if you know what you want, please feel free to message me and I could probably make what you need! I would recommend a hook or two as well as Velcro.
