Feral Kitten - Mobile

Poor little speedbump :crying_cat_face:
I hope the meds set him right

Shame on the Larges!
But, here Purdue Large Animal clinic at the University just announced they are full & accepting no admissions.
Maybe - with the holidays - your places were short-staffed & also full up w/admitted animals.

Poor Mobile! I’m glad he didn’t break anything.

Jingles for a speedy recovery! No more zoomies, Mobile!

Jingles!

He’s feeling ok this morning though angry to be back in jail in my office. I feel bad it’s going into a long weekend when I’m not sitting in there all day but we’ll visit with him. He still had a bit of a limp so no running or jumping for a bit.

The vet hospital situation was frustrating when the closest place we drove too turned us away we called a few other places and they would take our info put us on hold go talk to a Dr and come back and say no. There was another family at the one place who ended up at the same vet as us. Their pup was playing with another dog got his eye hooked by a a tooth and needed the eye checked. The emergency vet we tried first said if it was scratched/punctured he could lose his sight but they still wouldn’t see him. The vet we ended up at stained it confirmed it was ok and they were gone in ten minutes.

The original place also had a euthanasia case come in taking 3 techs and a vet. The poor dog had not an ounce of fat or muscle it was a skeleton and had layers of open oozing wounds all over its body that weren’t new. I’m thankful that he/she was able to be laid to rest but that shouldn’t have been an emergency case late at night. Both my husband and I looked at each other and said our pets will never reach that stage. I realize everyone’s situation is different and it’s a very hard decision but the poor dog had been suffering for a long time.

Looks like we got lucky his limp is almost gone and he’s out of jail and back to enjoying life.

Holy pupils batman!! He looks no worse for wear and is totally innocent and has never caused you a minute of stress

Great news! He looks as though he has regained his good opinion of humans, if it ever wavered after the incident.

His pupils are rediculous I’ve always said he looks like the orange begging kitty from Shrek. He has been going through a funny phase where he gets super riled up and bites the couch. Luckily the style fabric is no worse for wear and we all just chuckle at his momentary spazz outs.

oh yes - I see the similarity!!

I love it when they get a case of the ‘kitty crazies.’ For my portly 5 y/o boy it lasts about 4 minutes in the morning where he gallops around the living room. If his little sister happens to be in his path he tries so hard to get her to get her to board the crazy train with him for a game of puffy-tailed chase. She rarely lowers her dainty self to his level of carpet-rolling mixed with sprints and “Geronimo!” leaps off of the back of the couch. At least it tuckers him out for his morning snooze.

He’s about 5 1/2 months now. Still a total character and has the softest fur of all of our cats. He’s still a bit high energy for the older guys I’m hoping once he loses a bit of kitten energy they all settle a bit more. No actual fighting but a lot of noise.

The kitten naughtiness should definitely end by the time he’s two!:rofl::rofl:

You are a great cat parent for bringing in snow for him! What a great idea!

That is a adorable! He’s a little bobcat! We have a screened in porch that occasionally gets some snow if the wind blows right. Most of mine take a couple steps, shake their paws & then want back in the house.

I dunno. Baler is 7 and he still acts like a kitten. Only the speed has decreased.
