All of the jingles needed for today’s surgery. We need him to remain able to use the litter box so we’re all a bit nervous. He was perfectly quiet on the drive and I should be picking him up at 4:30. When I got back from camping he wrapped his whole arms around my hand and just purred and purred.

Former vet tech here. Small kittens sometimes have a harder time regulating their temperatures during anesthesia and recovery compared to an older kitten or adult cat. So they often require more warming intervention and a bit more time to get back to normal body temperature following an anesthetic procedure.
