I’m looking at buying a pair of der dau contour boots at a steal of a deal, however although they’re perfect height wise and foot wise, the calf is about an inch too large. Does anyone know if the gusset/elastic could be removed to give a closer fit? Or if the boot could be taken in? It’s really too good of a deal to pass up and it’d be nice to have a back up pair of boots to show in.
I would think so. If you call/email Der Dau they might be able to confirm that and say where they should be taken in/whether or not you could remove the gusset.
