Congrats! Sounds like a lovely horse and it sounds like you have an awesome plan in place to set him up for success.

One bit of advice I would give would be to make sure you give the horse plenty of time to settle into his new home/routine. Horses can seem to change personalities when they show up to their new home, but if you think about it, they are having to process a lot of change at once, and it can sometimes take them a few weeks or even a few months to return to the horse you met when you tried them. Don’t panic if they seem less friendly, less chill, maybe are a bit standoffish and nervous with the change. A gut supplement is always a good idea! And lots and lots of patience

that’s excellent advice, thank you! That reminds me of when I was 9, my parents bought me a pair of mice (consolation prize for not getting a pony) and their care instructions recommended leaving them alone for the first day or so to get used to their new home without getting harassed by an overly excited kid (me). I about lost my mind from impatience haha
