Finding Side Reins

Does anyone know of side reins that are less than $100 that can be adjusted to a size range of about 33ish to 40"?

I have a large pony for who I need to buy new side reins. The problem I am having is he is between the pony and horse sizes. On him, I typically adjust the side reins to a length of about 35 to 36". I can find horse size side reins to go down to 35", but it doesn’t appear I could add holes to make them shorter if needed. I am fine with having to add holes to make them shorter. The pony reins I found only go up to 35". If it matters, I have the ones similar to those in the link below. To make them short enough, I have to loop both ends around the girth and bit back to the rings. I would like to avoid looping them around the bit.

These are the kind you need. You can punch additional holes to shorten them if too long https://www.statelinetack.com/item/leather-donut-side-reins/SLT901765/?srccode=ADMSLPH&msclkid=a69afcbaac56116c0294a3ab5db59b99&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=SLT%20DSA%20-%20Quick%20Build%20-%20Exact%20-%20[Adlucent]&utm_term=side%20reins%20with%20donut&utm_content=side%20reins%20with%20donut&adlclid=ADL-93e2588f-f13c-4948-b546-135a02da9fef

I have some bevel elastic ones that buckle and you can easily add more holes. I dunno the exact dimensions but I use them on my Morgan who is around 15.2 with medium-short neck. They are these ones: https://www.beval.com/product/leatherelastic-side-reins/
I got them used for like $30 so I’d suggest hunting around online for a second hand pair. My trainer did express concern on if the elastic kind were legal to lunge at shows but I just double checked the rule book and sounds like they are perfectly legal.

cheap way: Use the horse size and tie a knot in the nylon part.
