Thunderstormer…HOLY MOLY! :winkgrin::eek:

I’ve fallen for Dan And John. Little 15h (would have to be on a good day, I think) bay g. with an eventing pedigree to die for. He’s a solid little fellow.[/QUOTE]
Do it VR! He looks like he’d be a super fun little guy! Wish I had room for him.
Two Full Pockets … what a looker.
And he loves to swim - meant to be an eventer or foxhunter, right?

I have this strange vision of Pockets paddling around in someone’s swimming pool with water wings on. His trainer laughed when she was telling how much this guy loves that track pool.
OMG!  Both new greys are fabulous!!!
Two Full Pockets:

and Stately Pegasus:

are both absolutely awesome.
Dang… I sure wish I were 10 yrs younger… Course if I were I still would be working and wouldn’t have time for them both and it would be too hard to chose which one to work!
I will attest that Stately is a sweetie. I met him when he was a stallion (colt) and even then he was pretty sweet. He’s a looker and will make a fancy horse.
He had a big trot, like a dressage trot more than a hunter, but he may have “come down” a bit from then. If I could afford it, I’d take him in a minute.
Virginia Trailer Ride
There is a possible VERY REASONABLE trailer ride down to Richmond on I-95 if a 4 horse load can be assembled. My big guy, plus the neighbors are still shopping for a hard luck case, and I think another Virginian is lurking and drooling over a FL Beauty. Soooo…anybody ?
Me Me! I will have one or two hopefully coming down to MD next week! Would love to share a trailer ride if it works out. Otherwise, I have a few other shippers who have submitted quotes from NY-MD.
Holy Cow, what a group of beauties still available! Gotta’ love the big gray Pegasus horse. I see him every day and he’s a good boy.
Love, love, love Cowboy Jr. What a sparky little boy he is!
Stellaspeed, With Spirit will be delivered to me tomorrow morning, instead of this afternoon as planned. No worry. His stall is set up for him and we’ll get along just fine. I’ll get my daughter out to the farm tomorrow to take pics to post. You’re going to be wowed by him!
TurtleBayou, I’m prepared to take on Beau’s Tune as well, probably within the next couple of days. She ran today and came back to the barn just fine. If there are more, let me know.
SpyglassEvening, Rock and Roll Roan bounced back to the barn just fine. I was actually running a horse in the 6th race, he was in the 5th and I had my eyes on him as he was being led back to the barn. Bounce, bounce, bounce! He’s a very happy fellow! Do you have all of your shipping arrangements made? Please keep us posted as your beautiful Finest settles in.
There were many rigs around today and one Canadian couple was very busy on the backside, hoping to fill their big rig. I hope they took some good ones. I’m still thinking that March West should find a home that is willing to give him some R and R to get those ankles set. He’s a stunning animal.
Just heard that Rock and Roll Roan was sold today, even though they knew I wanted him. I’ve been waiting on this horse for a while now, and I am so disappointed. Puts a really bad taste in my mouth…What a bummer.
Pegasus… the name suits him! He is stunning!
I can’t get over the prices on these horses, either…
Stella, I sent you a PM, my phone is charging. I’m interested, just need to iron out a few details.
Spyglass, that sucks, I am really sorry!
Sorry Spyglass…that’s really a shame.
Have you looked at any of the other horses listed? There are still some nice ones available!
Spyglass you have a PM
Check your PM’s
I went down to the barn today–Lucky is settling in quite nicely! The BO had let him out in the paddock off his stall and said he wasn’t quite sure what to do first, but then he walked out, took a little buck, and had a look around. I think he’s not thrilled that he’s not out in the big pastures with the other horses. I gave him a brief introduction to the crossties, and had him on one with the chain lead on the other side. He has very nice feet, even with the chunk out on the right front. The farrier can see to that when he’s out in January. Lucky was very patient, even when the new barn kitten (who has no sense of self-preservation-I had to chase both of them out from under my car when I was leaving) decided to investigate his back feet. We went out for a walk and for a horse off the track less than forty-eight hours, he was sensible overall–he only got bouncy once, when we were walking the lane between the pastures and the other horses were charging up and down the fencelines on either side.
And unlike my old OTTB, who took a while figuring out what carrots were (and was never particularly high on any other tread) he has carrots, and peppermints, and the supplement cookies (joint stuff) all figured out. If anything I think we’re going to have to work on manners–there is to be no mugging for treats. He had sorted out what was in my pocket in no time.
And Stately Pegasus–WOW! If I were looking for a show horse (and had room for two) I might have to have Terry make a second run…someone snap him up, he’s gorgeous! Also surprised that Somewhereinbetween is still up there, and two of my ‘short-listers’, Tri Crusading and Maria’s Treasure. Surely people need some nice-looking, fit horses, already used to riding, shipping, handling, at fire-sale prices.
Spyglass, I’m so, so sorry that this happened. I KNOW how anxious you have been to get him in your barn. I think there is more to this than Rock and Roll Roan simply being sold after his race today. There is a reason why this didn’t work out. And look at the beauties that have just been listed. I can attest that Stately Pegasus is a beautiful animal: I see him every single day! And, he’s less money!
Are you stuck on a gray? Okay if you are, but, if not, there are still many gorgeous horses available.
Spyglass–was he sold, or claimed?
And if you want a gray, just take a look at the two listed–Two Full Pockets is a cutie, and man, Stately Pegasus is a stunner.
