First Horses Have Arrived!!!

My friend a Vet at WEG posted that the first horses have arrived!

Judging by the pics on the WEG Facebook the Endurance horses from Chile have arrived

YEAH for WEG!!

How’s the weather now?

Cooling down in the 70’s-80’s. Mid 80’s next week. Though we are hoping for some rain!! We haven’t had rain in Lexington for the past 3 weeks. It usually goes above or below the city but misses us.

The Aussie horses - the ones based in Australia - (plus 1 x Kiwi) are in transit. Left Sydney yesterday and flew via Hong Kong and Anchorage to LA, where they spend a couple of days in quarantine before flying airly close to Kentucky. The Chef de Mission and the Stable Manager (who is a LEGEND - hi Rod!) should already be there.

First European horses arrive - including Totilas and Parzival!

The Dutch, German, and Spanish dressage mounts arrived in Cincinnati yesterday.

Dutch Reining horses have also arrived in Cincy except 1 who lives in Texas & will haul directly to the HP!

On a good note we got about 2 hours of rain yesterday morning. Hopefully it will help a little bit towards our rain deficit. Though today is in the 70’s Sunday will be in the high 80’s again. :frowning: Hopefully we’ll get some more rain!!! I rode Wednesday afternoon after the ring was watered, 5 minutes after watering the outdoor it was dry again.
