Fixing a too deep arena

I am boycotting it until it’s fixed. I will haul out, ride outside when I can, or just do some very basic walk “strengthening” work until things change

That is how I use my barn’s indoor arena. It is what it is and it won’t be changing so I deal with it this way. I do a bunch of in-hand work and a little lunging indoors. I have bad feet so no trouble if it is freshly worked but once it gets chopped up, I can’t handle it either . Luckily this winter, we are having a nice “open” winter (warmer and thus far no snow) so haven’t had to use it much.
