The Seresto collar really works well and only has to be replaced every 8 months. Capstar pills (from the vet) will immediately kill any adult fleas, but you likely have an infestation in your house now.
Vet said nothing until 6 months.
And because my Rodeo developed epilepsy in conjunction with the Advantage/Advantix use I`m being conservative to a fault.
Maybe coincidence but all my red flags are up.
Pups shouldn`t die at 6 years old.
You need to treat your house also. I would just give the pup a bath everyday with Dawn dish soap.
He`s bathed and sprayed, carpets sprayed and bedding sprayed.
Fleas tend to survive my laundry attempts so let the spray kill them first.

I really wish the yard sprays didn`t kill my bees, but if push comes to shove…
Really you should just go to a vet and get one of the newer products. You wouldn’t have needed to use any other sprays or bombs. Fleas want to find canine and feline hosts.
Combined with frequent vacuuming preferably with an old vacuum with a beater bar and a minimum three months of treatment of your puppy you will break the life cycle. You entice the eggs to hatch out with friction, heat and CO2. Crawl around on the floor or let puppy do it. Also do not lock Polo out from any rooms or areas that he has been in as that will just serve to keep the eggs dormant. If he’s been in a room, there are flea eggs in the room. Nothing kills the viable eggs that are already in your house. They have to become larvae and pupa for anything to work. Which is why you vaccuum. You can add small amounts of diotamaceous earth to your carpets as well. It will kill the larvae and pupa.
I was at the Vet yesterday and he won’t write a prescription for a 4 month old puppy.
He also has the same concerns I have about the epilepsy/Advantix coincidence, he diagnosed, treated and had to end Rodeo’s suffering
Polo is much much happier today, scratching and chewing 99% gone.
And I haven’t been bitten yet.

Get Sevin granules for your yard. It should kill fleas for 3 months

I foster and have had tiny pups come in with horrible fleas. I tend to use flea spray on the flea comb and comb the fleas out. Limits the amount of spray on the pup and mechanically removes the fleas. My vet recommends bravecta for flea and tick control for appropriately aged dogs.
