It was a thrill! Hopefully she will run at Saratoga and I will try to post something when the entry comes out. 
Paid Up Subscriber is entered to run next in the 9th race at Delaware Park on Saturday. It’s the G1 Delaware Handicap at 1 & 1/4 miles and the race goes off at 5:15.
Whoot-whoot!!! We’ll keep an eye out

I’m A Chatterbox survived an inquiry after a pretty severe turn to the left and associate bumping with all the inside horses just after the break. Hope all 4 are none the worse for wear with the bumping they went through.
Hope the connections were happy with Paid Up Subscriber’s performance
Wow - that filly is a menace. She’s been taken down before - this isn’t her first time. From the 4 path across striking the 1?!? (Paid Up Subscriber).
It was very fortunate all of the 4 horses affected were able to continue.
I know it is very rare for a horse to be taken down as a result of a “bobble” at the break as it supposedly doesn’t affect the outcome. But this was more like she cleared the table. Paid Up Subscriber was several strides into the race when the gang met her. I could see Chatterbox being placed last.
But also get why they let it stand.

I thought Paid Up Subscriber ran a great race after that rough start. No shame in running 2nd in a Grade 1! She increased her earnings to $428,300 in just 9 starts.
CVPeg, I don’t know where she’ll be pointed next but I would imagine that Al Stall will tell us soon.
I see that Paid Up Subscriber is in the Personal Ensign tomorrow at Saratoga

Today just wasn’t her day but hopefully she’ll be back to try again.
Totally out of the loop, not even able to watch the Travers on TV. So didn’t keep on top of this (not even opening my watch e-mails!).
But hope the trip had some good moments and you enjoyed Saratoga anyway - and that she came home just fine. It is quite a stakes race. All close in together at the end with absolutely the best company. :yes:
