Florida Foxhunters, I want to see what it's like down there

In the summer. DH and I will be traveling down sometime toward the end of next week, probably around the Ocala area, but we’re not adverse to driving a little farther.

I’d like to come visit the kennels, meet some folks and see what it’s like in the summer. I know I like it in the winter, but I’ve never done horses that far south in July, and want to see if it’s something I can handle.

PM me with contact information if you can help me out.

email JtMFH Alexis Macaulay at mmhounds@aol.com
she is the JtMFH of Misty Morning Hounds in gainesville, which would be nice little day or half day trip from Ocala.

We aren’t hunting now, we don’t start cubbing til late September and then hunt til mid March, but Alexis loves to show off our hounds and kennels, as do we all

Lonesome palm hounds.

We are roading twice a week, you are welcome to join us,bring a cozzy to flop in the pool afterwards.

Only roading a couple of miles in this heat.

Who do you normally hunt with?.

I know of a nice 10 acre place, cute house built 2007,that is screaming for a new owner,

Just about equidistant to Lonesome Palm, Misty Morning, and Liveoak hounds,Also very close to the fabulous Oaks Equestrien Centre [the O’connor signature development]

For more info call me [Sec.] or the Joint MFHs Debra or Kerry Kornacki.

fernie,

We’re waffling on whether to by a small farm or just board for the season.

I however, am leaning towards the farm. My contact information for receiving information on plummy little farms in the right area is jcmcnky1@fuse.net.

Since you’ve tempted me, we might as well just go all the way.

I’d love to come visit. We’re hoping to be down there in the next couple of weeks. Lord knows if I can handle it in July, I should be fine.

I"m also hunt horse shopping. You all may feel free to dangle lovely sale ads in front of me.

and since I’ll be horse shopping…

you all need to point me in the right direction.

Well it’s about time, we’ll be there next week!!!

So after dealing with the business, the employees, my mother’s recent hospital stay, we just decided we’re leaving Kentucky on Monday morning, so we’ll be checking into a cute little cottage over at the Carriage Museum for some blissful peace and quiet and our first "recon’ mission!

My cell is 859-760-8505, and I “should” have internet access, so anyone from nearby Ocala, give us a call so we don’t miss anything!
