Please I’m looking for info on a horse sanctuary in Florida run by LAURIE WOLF. It is called equestrian spirits and a google search led me here!
here is a past thread about this woman. Have not heard of her, but looking around on line, it appears she has moved her horses and whatever else is in the “sanctuary” from farm to farm; does not own land. Sounds sketchy. There is a go fund me page trying to raise $100k to buy farm. Still more than $99,000 left to go…

I do believe I rescued a gelding that was in her care in Oviedo when she was at a barn there, several years ago, before she got kicked out. Not sure if its the same Laurie Wolf…or not. But I have not heard good things about this lady after I got a half starved gelding that she supposedly rehabbed. I got pictures of the gelding from the previous owner, in fine shape, and he was half starved when I picked him up. Pretty obvious he needed rescued from her, not the previous owner!
I don’t have any personal experience with her, but the farm I purchased three years ago is one that she used to rent. Apparently she had 50+ horses on this 20 acres, and I assume a bunch of chickens since she’d turned all five stalls into chicken pens. I’ve heard plenty of stories from the neighbors about the drama, and suggest that people stay away from her. She’s been scamming people for so long I’m shocked she still found clients in the Ocala area.
Holy smokes, she is ten minutes from me. I never heard of her.

oh that was her and she is AT IT STILL , just screwed 3 more elderly people out of money. and now these people have lost everything and that Laurie Wolf kicked them out because they have no more money. RINSE AND REPEAT> con artist Extrordinare!!! this EVIL WOMAN NEEDS TO BE STOPPED FROM TAKING ADVANTAGE OF MORE ELDERLY PEOPLE
