Fly sheets - where to donate?

After struggling to keep Kensington textilene sheets on my bug-allergic horse, I realized I needed to order a size down.

So, I have a couple of just scrubbed fly sheets that need a home. Does anyone know of an equine rescue that might like a donation?

Also have older Rambo fly sheet and new or near new, clean fly masks…

Where are you located? That might help narrow it down. In addition to equine rescues, you might consider hippotherapy programs.

Good point! I’m in the Mid-Atlantic DE/ MD/ PA

Days End Farm in Woodbine, MD takes donations of horse tack/supplies/etc. If they can’t use the items directly for the rescue horses, they sell them in their tack shop.

when we were looking for set of harness a local 501.c horse rescue that had a new set of the harness we wanted… retail price about $2,500…they offered it to us at $400… we countered at $600…they accepted then threw in a set of work harness and a few other items …then asked if we needed any blankets as they showed their stock room of about 400 nice blankets of all sizes

Thank you Gardenhorse and Clanter! I’ll contact Days End and a more local equine rescue.

Since fly stuff is almost out of season, I wasn’t sure they’d be interested. The sheets are clean and I’ve somehow gotten them back into the tiny blanket bags in which they came!
