Foggy morning meet

We finally got a little rain in central Kentucky! Our Wednesday meet was so pretty in the fog I thought I’d share a little of our video of it.

The Meet at Boone Valley

Everyone have a happy St. Hubert’s Day!

Hounds

Beautiful video! Lovely hounds!! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, gothedistance! Here’s hoping for more rain now … We were in Northern Virginia last weekend and were so glad to see green fields again!

I never get tired of your blog and the photos and videos.

I love the blue tick hound talking to your huntsman - they do get impatient, don’t they. “Quit mucking about and move off”! He seems to be saying.

That’s Bonsai. She’s one of our English imports, from the North Costwold, and she’s near and dear to our huntsman’s heart–as I think our huntsman also is to Bonsai’s heart! I love how, as soon as Bonsai hears Lilla’s horn, she just leaps up and bounds toward the sound.

So glad you’re enjoying the blog, JSwan. We’re having a good time writing it! And in the not too distant future, it looks like we’ll have another batch of puppies to chronicle, which will be fun. The BA litter we’ve been featuring have just been amazing to watch.

Background Music?

Hounds–please share the background music title/artist to your latest video. It’s lovely!

Believe it or not, it’s a royalty-free tune that comes with Apple’s iMovie program. If you have an iMac (or I guess pretty much any Apple with iMovie on it) with iLife, it’s called “Shetland.” I like it, too! I’m partial to Celtic music. One of the biggest challenges in making these little videos is coming up with royalty-free music, but luckily my iMac has quite a few choices.
