I have no issues with blankets, sheets, fly sheets without hoods with folding and hanging neatly but I just end up with a bunched-up area where the hood is. Any experts on that?

I use the method my barn manager taught me:
Fold in half along the center/spine with the wither part in your left hand and tail with your right. Put on ground with the fold towards you. If it has a hood, fold that inwards. Then fold twice so it’s in thirds (“hot dog, hot dog”) then once in half (“hamburger”). Then hang so that it’s halved again, with the fold towards you. Tuck any errant straps in.
