Looking for recommendations for something that is reliable and durable (good price also a plus). Any recommendations? To be used for measuring jump distances for gymnastics as well as dressage arena dimensions.
Thanks in advance.
I see people using the BoB wheel, I e used my coaches, and it’s pretty easy to usehttp://http://www.bitofbritain.com/Keson-Meter-Wheel-p/3531.htm -
Buy it from Amazon, way cheaper. I have one I use for farm stuff that measures in feet, it is a Rolatape, very accurate and paid half the BOB price (on sale). They are $30 cheaper now and come in metric.
I use mine way more than you’d think and you can always use a converter if you want to switch/have one that measures in feet. A couple taps in my iPhone and you know the meters.
I like my foot ones because I can check my stadium distances/lines/strides so easily with it in my ring. I would not like to have to convert 12 ft increments to Metric and try to go by that! I usually just walk it out but then double check myself with the wheel. Keeps me honest about my 3 ft step.
I just downloaded an app for my smartphone that I will try for measuring distances. Part of the smart tools set. Haven’t tried it yet
Fordtraktor- what particular model do you have?
