For fun: what to clip on my horse's butt!

Looking for fun ideas on what to clip on my Friesian’s hindquarters. Why? Because I trace clip him every year because he is insanely hairy. And he will be in the middle of nowhere Missouri at school with me til May so he isn’t going anywhere. No one will see his shame.

Now clearly he needs something badass clipped into him. Because he is such a badass.

I’m pretty handy with a pair of clippers, but not that handy. So if you have any clever ideas, post them. But nothing feminine. Because he is a man horse.

I’ve done tulips, hearts and daisies on my girl’s rump. I shaved 40 on my friend’s horse for her birthday. (And she didn’t slap me!)

I’d love to do a snowflake but that’s probably more complicated than I’m up for. But my horse is laid up for the winter and I have lots of free time, so I may just try it.

I find hearts the easiest Otherwise I usually do initials or something related to the horse’s name-- Apollo got a rocket, for example. What’s your horse’s name?

A Gothic or Old English calligraphy X; some are rather ornate, but some would be easy to do with clippers.

Do a very fancy X. My horse’s name starts with a Z and I always wanted to do a swishy Zorro-type Z on his butt.

I second (third? fourth?) the calligraphic/fancy X idea! Once my horse retired I started adding fun shapes to his summer and winter clips, a Z, lightning bold, shooting star, green lantern’s logo, Bizarro logo (superman’s villian counterpart).

If you have a favorite cartoon, comic book, or other fictional character, see if you can incorporate that! Maybe his personality reminds you of a certain character?
