I must get a pair of rust Ariats, I already have several pairs of TS.
I also wore rust breeches and brown field boots, but I wasn’t a junior. :lol: I’m even much less a junior now and I still wear rust breeches (unfortunately, my brown boots don’t fit anymore, but I wear brown jodhpur boots and brown leather chaps).
Rust breeches are beautiful!

I would never show in them. I have yet to see a pair at an A show here on the west coast.
If people can wear them at WEF you can wear them anywhere. Just because no one else in your area hasn’t worn them yet doesn’t mean you can’t - be daring. Guess it is up to us East Coast people to be the trend setters.

I would never show in them NOT because I have not seen them in the ring here (trust me I don’t follow trends, I would rather start them;)) but because I don’t like them. They were fine in the 70’s but some trends, in my opinion, should not be revived.

I have to agree that i’m not a big fan of the rust breeches. :no: I just think they stand out way too much for the showring…ESPECIALLY in the hunters
Want 'em… if only to get the right answer to the perennial question, “Honey, do these make my butt look big?” The lie is harder to tell when the girlfriend is wearing beige breeches.
But the ones in the pictures on this thread all look quite light and red. I know they don’t look that way in person and that direct sunlight doesn’t help. But then I’ll be in direct sunlight. Any ideas about which rust breeches look, well, more rust?

OMG!!! Could you give me the link to the store that sells the coat with the rust piping? That would look AMAZING with rust breeches.
In the picture she is wearing Tailored Sportsmans ladies low-rise. Not the super expensive ones. These ones are about $150.00 here in Canada. I haven’t seen the Ariats here, but I’m sure I’ll like them.
