For your viewing pleasure - jumper info

For those of you interested in the breeding of the WEG jumping horses, I have posted a pdf file on our website with the FEI list of all the horses in the showjumping. This list includes:
name of horse/studbook/rider /nation represented
Sex/Color/Born/Sire x Dam Sire / FEI passport / Owner

This week I will try to get a good portion of the photos up there with ID’s - might need some help identifying a few of the photos - but in the meantime - enjoy the info!

To get the list go to www.waterhorsefarm.com
Go to the news tab
Under WEG, click the link to the list

Wouldn’t it be nice if all our USEF show horses could have permanent, unchangeable numbers and all this information complete and easily referenced (hint hint)!!

Thanks for posting that - I skimmed through and found quite a few relatives of my own horse. Also, a fair number of ‘Z’ horses.

Anybody done a statistical study of interesting facts.

Please note that the year of birth on the scanned pages is incorrect - they are RIDER birth years. Oopsies!

(Where did you get your copy Obie? We had that corrected!)

I also have a fair number of the horses on my FB (links to albums in my sig line & there are a couple more albums as well) page… If you know who they are, feel free to identify. I just have not done them all yet.

Ah. Mystery solved. I was trying to figure out what those years were as they clearly weren’t the horses’ birthdays. My copy, which I am staring at as I type this, came from the Alltech/WEG website on Monday morning. I’m guessing that things were a bit frantic getting that order of go online as it was–wasn’t that the morning after the practice session that went really late and the one day that they didn’t have the orders of go for sale? Let’s just say I made many friends from several nations that day as my order of go made the rounds in our area of the grandstand. Here is a link to the corrected version of what Obie and I have: http://www.alltechfeigames.com/ftp-pdf/JUM_S_1.pdf

Am still working on getting my photos of SJ up. The Dressage and Eventing ones are done and have horse/rider combos IDed. I hope.

Ha - I just noticed those birth years - man there are some OLD horses in the games!!! Thanks for that updated link. I got my copy from someone who came from Holland - they got a copy in their travel package b/c the sheets were not available at the competition (sheet was only posted near the in gate). Did anyone get a chance to look at the WEG jumper pics on site that are not labeled (the file name will just have 100_####) - I would like to get them ID’d. Thanks!

HA!! I just noticed those dates - man there are some OLD horses competing!! Thanks for the updated link. I got my sheets from a friend from Holland that got it in his “travel” package when he got to the show.

If anyone has time to look at the pictures posted on the site - look at the ones that are not ID’ed yet. They will all be labeled as 100_#### - post a comment if you know who they are and I will correct them. I am going to post on the H/J site to see if anyone there knows

Thanks!

I can help with a couple: You’ve got image #106 identified as Cantus ridden by Laura Kraut, USA. Actually the horse is Cantus, but he’s ridden by Niklaus Schurtenberger of Switzerland (and Cantus is Cantus/Lanzer I, I think you got Cedric’s breeding there)

Also, #164 is Jos Lansink riding Cavalor Valentina Van’T Heike BWP (Nabab de Reve x Lys de Davaney)

It’s Lys de Darmen the mare’s Sire.
