Located in Union County, NC on Belk Mill Road (the Wingate side).
He’s being described as a Bay Roan Appaloosa, but he looks like a flea bitten gray with dark legs and a pink/app nose. He is approximately 13-14 years old, standing about 15 hands tall. He was wearing a halter when he was found.
He has a nasty wound on his face and the owner needs to be found in order for him to receive the necessary treatment. The wound is to old to be stitched and he needs to be sedated and that cannot be done without owner consent. It is not life threatening and he has been given a Tetanus shot, Bute, started on antibiotics, plus Banamine to make him comfortable. He has other smaller scrapes throughout his body that have been treated.
