Does anybody know where to buy a king-sized foxhunting duvet cover?
I found a foxhunting quilt http://www.patchmagic.com/product/6264/quilt-king-fox-hunt.html but I am really looking for a duvet cover.
I would think you could get the quilt & create a duvet cover from it pretty easily. I am not a sewer, but it sees like this would be simple.

I do sew, and turning that quilt into a duvet would not be easy unless you wanted to turn the heat all the way down and just leave the top quilted. Other than that, I think it would be a nightmare to un-quilt it.
I know! That IS a cool quilt! Half makes me want to give up the duvet and cover idea, but I have dogs who like to visit us on the bed, and I want to be able to just take the duvet out and wash the cover. Hmmmmm…

I just searched Ebay for cotton-horses-hunting, and there are some fun fabrics (and one truly AWESOME sweater 
) - if you can sew, a duvet cover is very easy to make:

I was thinking you could use the quilt as the top half of the duvet as it is, sew on something for bottom half, but redmares is right, it would probably be too heavy/hot.
What wonderful input! Thank you all. At the moment I am thinking that sewing a duvet cover could be a nice “blizzard project” for me. I’ll start gathering fabrics and then when a blizzard hits and the horses are all snug in the barn, I will hide from the storm in the house and sew away. Now I can look forward to winter! Try Horse Country. Marion has had several foxhunting bedding sets over the years, more printed than quilted and more classic imagery than artsy/crafty. Call and ask them for what’s currently in stock.
Warning, the bedding she carries is very high quality, so it will not be cheap. If she doesn’t have a duvet cover (and I know she’s had them in the past) it would be far easier to turn two top sheets into a duvet cover than the quilts than have been posted.
PS: is anyone else horrified/dumbfounded at the price of bedding these days? I couldn’t find a duvet cover that I liked for less than $350 either!
