Foxhunting Life

Hi, does anyone here subscribe to Foxhunting Life? Was recently at that site and pretty much enjoyed all the content that was free. Is it consistent? I don’t know why I’m so hesitant to spend $40 on its subscription when I’d probably spend that at the tack store on misc.

Yes, extremely consistent, with excellent writing and writers, superb photos, great interviews, and lots that you’ll only find there.
I was hoping he’d get enough ad revenue to go free (like CotH forums) but that hasn’t happened yet.
Norman Fine, the editor/creator, was the one who took Covertside from a mimeographed newsletter to an award winning glossy full color magazine. He’s very smart, very skilled and very experienced.
I can’t say enough good about it and about him. (Can you tell I’m a fan?!)
Subscribe but also poke him to try the free route again - hell, I think that the makers of Adequan, or Acepromazine, or Ariat boots, or Charles Owen would all be happy to drive his website if he took a poll and they see how much collective money we give them every year!

Well then I’ll have to subscribe ! Thanks. You make a good point about supporting the sponsors. I’ve actually met him before a long time ago. Cudos to him for being so active.

Although I am not a fox hunter, I used to subscribe to Covertside, just to support hunting in some small way. It was a beautfil publication, great articles and wonderful photography. What is Foxhunting Life, is there a connection? TIA

I agree re: Foxhunting Life. It has excellent articles on hunting, horses, hounds and some great bios of huntsmen, as well as articles on books, sporting artists, etc. IMHO Covertside has far far fallen by the wayside. Bit of fluff if anything in a glossy printed package.

I did subscribe and like it a lot. I like Covertside too.

I also thought to subscribe, but somehow I did not dare to pay money for it. The site is really very cool. But as for me it is better to save. Even, when I found an article about Foxhunting Life on the site of the essay https://writingpeak.co.uk/homework-help-online , did not dare
