There were a few Americans buying as well. Mike Repole and Seth Klarman (Klaravich) bought a few, and Peter Brant partnered with Coolmore on two or three hips.
I love seeing Americans investing in these turf pedigrees. Whether they’ll come stateside or remain overseas I don’t know. I would expect they’ll stay in Britain or Ireland for their 2yo seasons, since other than the Breeder’s Cup there’s a dearth of juvenile grass races here.
