Free Craigslist Pony Bethlehem PA

I made contact. I own a farm with shed and turnout (no proper barn or stalls), but we don’t live there yet (nor will we this winter). I was considering keeping my (new) pony in turnout for the winter, and was thinking about a companion to do that. I have found an alternate situation for my pony off my farm, and no longer require a companion. Ending up with a second pony right now would not be ideal.

Owner sent me just still photos and said they would send video. They have not, and I have not gotten back in contact.

I did not ask about health or behavioral issues. It’s a cute thing from the still photos; half Appaloosa (no spots) half Paso Fino (not gaited at all according to owner).

Well, shoot, I came back here to check on this thread and now there’s another one up about a free “thoroughbreed” and mini … a mini, I might add, that looks just like the 2 minis I already have. Oh my, 2 are cute, wouldn’t 3 be just adorable?

OK, here’s my situation. I am NOT in the market for another equine, but I DO have an open stall and may or may not be losing my senior horse within the next few weeks (having a hard time deciding whether I should keep him going through another winter), and I would certainly be willing to take on a pony if the pony seems to be in danger.

I’d rather not initiate contact myself with the seller (giver-away?) because then I’d probably end up with it in my barn no matter what.

So, if anybody here is willing to suss things out or if anybody thinks they might like the pony but just not yet, I’d consider getting him and keeping him here.

Oh my, I just showed my DH the pics from that other thread, and he asked me where they were. He did NOT look at me like I’m crazy!!!
