Freedom Z baby questions

A friend has a nice Freedom Z baby o/f a Northern Dancer mare…He’s coming 4, very cute, great attitude. Week after starting training and he’s moving along like a pro. They want a good bit of money for him already though…Is that typical for Freedom Z babies?

I’m sure others will chime in, but my Freedom Z baby (7 now) is worth the world to me! People will tell you a horse is worth what someone will pay for it. An nice and easy, young horse who is just started has so much potential…

I LOVE my coming 4 Freedom Z gelding! I bred him myself and have done every step of his training myself. He is going nicely w/t/c now, after a year of under saddle 2 days a week. If that isn’t an ammie friendly horse, I don’t know what is! He has been sweet and gentle every step of the way. Not sure what your friends are asking, but I wouldn’t even think of letting mine go for under $17-20k…

Awesome!! I’m very excited about him (i’m doing his training.) Nothing I love more than a wonderful mind! I’d love to see pics of yours! I can post some tomorrow. He is coming 4, chestnut with white blaze, currently sticks 16.1h. BIG boy

Mine just measured at 16.1, too (although he’s growing right now, so butt measured 16.2). Here are some pics I just took for saddle fitting.

We have a 6 yr old Freedom Z mare - she is incredible, easy going, fantastic movement and a great mind. Bred for eventing out of a british event mare. Easiest horse to train ever and such a pocket pony - all 17.1hh of her.

Her sister just won a 2* event

I sold a three year old last fall for his owner. He was simply amazing. I can’t tell you how nice he was. Really good mover, lovely jumper (didn’t do much since he was only three) and all around good egg. Will finish 17 + hands.
I sold him in the 5 figures easily.

P.S. - I’ve actually had several (three) people ask me about the one I sold…meaning they would like another one just like it!

Have always loved this stallion! I am glad to see his babies are doing well.

Is he still available (frozen)? http://www.acornhillfarm.com/freedom_z.html

VirginiaBred - I’m not sure what’s going on with the stallions at Acorn Hill. Their website says that none of their stallions are available in 2014…

they just hired a Canadian Eventer at their barn
