Pros and cons to the Freejump stirrups? Specifically the Soft’UP pros vs the Airs? Do the Airs break away like the SoftUp pros or are the airs just free jumps version on the traditional stirrup with no breakaway technology?

Are you looking for a safety stirrup? With so many on the market there is no reason not too. The Airs are not safety stirrups, while the Soft’UP are. I’ve seen stories of Freejumps breaking, like in the middle of a 5*.

My entire barn rides in the soft’up pros. I have the classics and so does one other client. We all love them. I’ve felt so much more comfortable, not only from a safety standpoint but also my foot position and leg.
If you are wanting something for eq you can buy the silver version as those are acceptable with the USEF.
I like the look of the airs, too, but went with something tried & trusted with my fellow competitors as I haven’t seen or heard much about the airs also.
