Frivol: stock pins?

I’m looking for a new stock pin and kinda hating all the options. Started looking on ebay and found some ideas that could work for my greenie… :joy: What do you use?

Isn’t “airborne” tempting fate?

“Hold fast, sit sure” is the motto of the Worshipful Company of Saddlers, which always makes me grin when I see it

Lol yes - it was tongue in cheek. But we are eventers, so… :joy:

I could get my clan badge - our motto is “By faith and fortitude” which applies to my dressage experience too… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That would work very well: a pin with the clan crest and motto. Particularly yours. Classy.

I like them all for their cheeky humor. I think the “alert” is very stylish

the buffalo is 10th Cavalry and honors the Buffalo Soldiers, the original troops of the unit

Ah that wouldn’t be right for me to use. But I appreciate the sentiment behind it

I use vintage pins! Usually sparkly ones.

I use a little tie tack shaped like a dragon as my stock pin. I always joke that my horse is like riding a dragon (snorts a lot and sometimes I fear for my life) so I got it for him. I stick to a plain gold safety pin when I show him in the hunters and out fox hunting, but wanted something fun for dressage.

during covid lockdown earlier this year i bought a bunch of pins online. Mostly vintage or antique. The one i love the most might just be good luck and i plan on wearing it in my first show whether i wear a stocktie or not remains to be seen…but somewhere on me will be this cool thing (it’s 1.5"…looks bigger in this photo) Screen Shot 2021-12-29 at 6.53.21 PM
