Frivolous saddle pad color question

I have a current saddle pad that is white (Toklat Woolback):

I like it and want to get another one, but I’m wondering if I should get white again, or if I should get black?

Sometimes I use a navajo on top, but mostly I like to ride with just the wool fleece…Would black look good/bad/better/worse?

It is time for silly fashion questions in the western forum!:winkgrin:

Go back to hunter land. (said with all the love!)

I would totally get black to match the seat on your saddle.

I think black would look nice

Ok, agreed. I think black would look nice, too, so I’m going to get a black one! I know, tinah, I tried to make this like a h/j forum question of great importance, but I guess people here just don’t care about the color of my saddle pad!!!:lol::cool:

Your saddle is gorgeous… what kind is it?

Thanks! It is a Crestridge: http://crestridgesaddlery.com/

I got it because it is fairly lightweight, comes in a mule tree for Mac’s flat back, has a nice padded seat, great wither clearance, and I like the rigging system. I can ride in it for hours without my bony butt hurting!

I tried a LOT of saddles, and I found this one to be of equal or better quality than many higher-priced saddles I tried (especially the McCalls - I was very disappointed in the workmanship of the saddles I tried . . . multiple saddles and I found a problem with each of them).
