Anyone from Great Britian out there??? Is it still frozen over there? I was to go hunting during the Christmas break but had to move the trip to the end of Feb because the ground was frozen. What is the outlook for the rest of the season?
Frozen here on Exmoor (SW England) and much worse further north. We haven’t hunted since New Years Day 
We had more snow last night but it is supposed to start thawing here over the next couple of days.
Who knows what the rest of the winter has in store for us (!) but by the end of Feb you should be in with a much better chance of getting out again. Best to keep in touch with the people you are going to and keep fingers crossed!
We are fortunate and carry on hunting till the end of April, so even if we lose lots of days now, its not the end of the world (not sure the huntsman agrees!).
