I’ve posted about mine before, and decided to take some pictures after grooming him today, and I regret it
he’s fugly. He actually was a bit chonky in the last weeks, and thought, hm, this isn’t so bad. Now he’s doing some growing thing again, and looks less chonky and has no neck. His father and mother have great necks and thicker builds, and his half and full siblings do too, so his odds are good that the neck fairy will visit him eventually. I thought he was looking better until recently and…well, at least he has a nice mane to hide his sad looking neck on one side 
He’ll be 2 in May. I see some 2 year olds in Spain (he’s a PRE) looking more mature than I think he will, but we’ll see. His sire produces a really consistent type, so I have faith. I also don’t want to over feed him going into spring because the grass here is rich, so going into spring chunky, with his breed/type, would not be ideal.
