Fun schooling pads?

Does anyone have any suggestions to source fun print schooling pads, to some extent the wilder the better? Obviously there’s Etsy, but IME quality there is uneven, and quick checks of Smartpak/Dover don’t seem to have a lot of other options.

(Context disclaimer: yes, I am over the age of 12, but I am looking at holiday gifts for my part-lease horses and one’s owner often decks him out in fun prints for schooling. Everyone cleans up nice when appropriate…)

I adore my Equine Couture pads - great for schooling, and come in cute colors and prints. I’ve kept my dressage pads - pink with embroidered palm trees, and white with embroidered martini glasses, just in case I do decide to go back to riding at some point!

I’m sure they still make them, but if not, a search of eBay may find some.

make your own? use washable fabric paints

Weatherbeeta has an ombre pad
HKM and Dotibel have fun prints.
Are you looking for AP or dressage pads?

I’ve ordered custom pads from an Etsy shop. Not sure she is still on etsy, but she calls her business Sucker Pads I think. They make some really cute pony pads! I bought a flower-shaped pad a few years ago that I think I like using more than my daughter  Might not work if your saddle is really big, but my 17" saddles all seem to fit the pony-sized pads just fine…so if that gives you flexibility to expand your search?

Kins’ Custom makes some fun things.

Another place that I frequently drool over their cute designs is Padded Ponies.

These ideas are awesome! Thanks to everyone so far for the pointers–keep 'em coming!

AP for this horse, but manufacturers always change their offerings, so never hurts…

Sadly we are all on the taller side, but I bet someone uses and loves this idea!

I got all my ‘fun’ pads from here, the pads themselves are lovely, like wilkers: http://www.luckypony.com/store/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=33

My friend Shannon, all my pads are from her, even the boring white ones

There was a thread on this several years ago and I got 3 fun pads. I will look at them and post the maker for all.

There’s a maker on Etsy called PegasusThreads, I can’t get the link to post, but has a lot of fun colors/patterns.

Okay, the ones I got came from Fashion Horse.

Why did I look at this thread?!? One of those WB Ombre pads is going to be coming to my home soon… I blame you @MissAriel

This site had a lot of fun saddle pads too: https://www.fashionhorse.com/saddle-pads/english-pads

Saw some cute ones at Fashion Horse (with billet straps that I like and some of these “fun” pads lack and they are priced well)… then noticed it says they are fazing out english saddle pads. Bummer!

LeMieux Heritage has fun plaid ones.

(But that speaks volumes when I think plaid is “fun” lol)

I bought one of these for myself as a birthday present and love it. It is fun and well made. Stays in place and stays tented at the withers.
