Funny candid winter pick me up video

Everyone needs a midwinter pick me up especially after the recent weather that affected much of the country, so I hope this helps. Funny candid horse related videos are always fun, right?
So, I took a handful of polo
lessons last fall and had a blast. I hope to continue in the spring. Over the holidays some very kind friends gifted me a foot mallet and some balls so I could practice in the off season (it’s not like I am gonna go play in Wellington over the winter.) I was very excited to receive these and went out in the yard this afternoon to practice a bit, and I was unaware my husband was filming. Not the most flattering result, but quite entertaining nonetheless. Said video follows. Anyone else have a funny candid video or picture to share? It’s nice to share a chuckle or two. Oh, and one of my friends texted to ask if I was drunk–nope, stone cold sober Share yours!

I played polo many years ago with a group of friends. We had a blast, although we were definitely not going to be playing in Wellington. Lol.

It’s always amazing to see the players who can hit the ball in midair at a dead gallop, especially if you’ve ever tried to hit it on a horse, even at a walk.

Yeah I had just finished actually riding my non-polo horse a bit before so still had breeches on! I am glad y’all horse people think this is as chuckle worthy as I do as my non horsey friends don’t see the humor too much. I think they just think I’m weird . If I am I’ll own it though!

Lol I was thinking you’d jump the green tunnel too . I like to jump and pop over stuff as I’m setting things up for my ride. I’m much more comfortable if I ‘canter’ in with my right lead, left feels awkward and my trot tends to lack impulsion

That was great!

I had a “mishap” and am now getting in-home PT. The other day she brought small cones and set them up in a line in my hallway and wanted me to walk-walk-step over the cone, walk-walk-step over the cone, etc. I took one look at the set-up and said:

Me: I can’t do that!
PT: You can’t step over the cones?
Me: No, the striding is all wrong!

I adjusted things, backed up and it was perfect!

Lord knows what her notes contained!
