FYI - Piper breeches flash sale
Any opinions from really short people on these? I’m barely 5ft and love the colors but always wonder about the sock bottoms totally bunching up…
I know a girl at my barn is around your height, “average” build, not heavy or super thin, and noticed that she wears Pipers almost exclusively, so they must work for her.

I’m 5’2" and have never had a problem with them bunching up. I ride in the full seats, not knee patches, but they’re probably the ONLY breeches that don’t bunch up for me. Any with a velcro bottom bunches if you aren’t wearing tall boots/half chaps, but the stretchy sock bottom stays down and smooth.

They are my favorite breeches at the price point. I like my Tredstep Rosa’s and Piper’s equally. Unless I move up to TS Trophy Hunters this is what I wear for schooling.

I am a 28R in both Smartpak and TS. When I was a little skinnier I sized down because they are super stretchy. I find the fit similar. They do not run regular if not long, and they come in longs if needed.

FINALLY bought 2 pairs with the coupon code! I haven’t tried them yet, but I have heard only good things about them. I ordered 2 different sizes to see which one works best.

Thanks for the heads up and the codes! These breeches have been sitting in my Smartpak cart for months waiting to be purchased.

I’m 5’ and I love mine. They need to make a white and I’ll be all set.

Has anyone tried the Piper Polo or T-shirt? Just wondering how they fit and how long the length is since I’ve got a long torso. thanks!

Does anyone have the Monaco blue with lilac? I’m not really sure what Monaco blue is and afraid my computer monitor is not very accurate.

Also, on my screen, the taupe looks like mocha or a medium brown. Anyone have them?
A friend of mine sent me a picture when I asked about the color. They look much lighter in her picture than on the website! Still gorgeous, just not as brown/rusty as I was hoping.

Got my new Pipers yesterday and thought I’d report back! I bought the military green with black in a 28 (my size in TSs) and I loooooooove them. The color is a ferny brown and very lovely, size is good but a little stretchy/loose in the waist. Belt seems to fix it no problem.

And I may or may not be wearing them in the office right now…tucked the sock bottoms up, threw on a tunic button down and brown mock croc leather flats and they look like fashion-forward pixie pants! Very glad I made the decision to buy them – thanks COTH enablers!

Sure! Here’s a link. Maybe I’m crazy but I think it’s pretty cute. My office is business casual and I am on the young side so people don’t seem to question me when I’m dressed a little differently…they just think it’s a trend

This is seriously the best! Totally pulling it off.

Love it!
hhmm…buying them and they can work as work pants does help justify buying more schooling breeches…

Wouldn’t work for me.

Do you mean my outfit or the code? The code was only for April 6 I think, and I fully acknowledge that my outfit is probably ill-advised.

Sorry, 541!! I meant the code!! I wish I could rock that outfit as well as you!!

I purchased the Piper tee. I am 5’7" with a long torso and the length was suitable. The v-neck was modest enough. However, I returned mine because the logo was not in a flattering location, it needs to be higher. May have just been the way it fits me.

SUCH a great idea. I too am a young person in a business casual option.
Benefits are twofold:
-Reduce frantic changes from work pants to breeches while en route from the office to the barn
-Justify buying more breeches

Thank you for the inspiration!!

I ordered for the first time during the sale and they arrived today. I’m on the fence about keeping them. I got the “blue jeans w/ brown” and they are a much brighter blue than I expected. I have a pretty athletic/curvy figure - they gape a little in the back waistband and are a bit more snug then some other brand I’ve tried (I got my usual size) but fit okay, they are quite stretchy. Also I’m 5’2" and they hit bottom of my ankle bone.
For the record - I say no to wearing them at work despite the convenience. But fine for the grocery store before/after you ride.

That’s my logic! I work at a university so aside from the highest level of administration, we’re pretty casual anyway. Obviously YMMV, but when I’m sprinting out of the office at 4:45 to make it to a 5:30 lesson…I’m gonna be grateful for the extra few minutes!

FYI If you are a Smartpak customer and missed the Piper breech flash sale, on the calendar this month is a “double your SmartPerks” coupon code for 20% off SmartPerks products
